The adults are brown with a diagonal pale line outlined in dark brown running across each wing. Also each forewing has a dumbell shaped mark and a small white dot. The wings all have scalloped margins.

The moths have a wingspan of about 3 cms.

These specimens were all taken in New South Wales.
The eggs are white and laid singly on the edge of the underside of leaves of a foodplant.
