This Caterpillar is pink, and only has 8 legs. It is an agricultural pest on

  • Cotton ( Gossypium hirsutum, MALVACEAE ).

    The adult moths are small and brown.

    The pheromones of this species have been identified. The species occurs world-wide, including much of Australia.
