This Caterpillar was found in Sydney feeding on young shoots of :

  • Cadaghi ( Corymbia torelliana, MYRTACEAE ),

    living between leaves joined with silk. It grew to a length of 1 cm.


    It produced a boring little dark brown moth, with a white spot near the centre of each forewing. The wingspan is about 2 cms.
