These caterpillars have been found feeding on the flowers and seeds of
The adult moths are yellow with a pattern of white, grey, black, pink, and blue on each forewing, although the colours fade to various shades of brown in museum specimens. The hindwings are plain brown. The inner margin of each wing is heavily fringed with hairs. The wingspan is about 1 cm.
