The caterpillars of this species feed in the seed heads of:

  • Sorghum ( Sorghum bicolor, POACEAE ).

    The adult moth is dark brown, with a white band across each forewing. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

    The species occurs in:

  • Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland.
