The caterpillars of this species have been found feeding on :

  • Oleander ( Nerium oleander, APOCYNACEAE ), and
  • Swan Plant ( Gomphocarpus fruticosus, ASCLEPIADACEAE ).

    The adult moths have a striking brown and white pattern.

    The species has been found in

  • Hong Kong,
  • Japan,
  • New Zealand,
  • Thailand,
  • USA,

    as well as

  • the Northern Territory, and
  • Queensland in Australia,

    and is suspected of being a group of superficially similar species.
