The adult moth of this species has forewings that are brown, with a white streak from base to margin, and a dark curved arc along the costa which sometimes contains a short yellow streak. The hindwings are black with a white area around the base. The wingspan is about 3 cms.

The species has been found in New Caledonia, as well as in Queensland.
