The Caterpillars of this species feed on the foliage of:

  • Ficus species ( MORACEAE ).

    The adults have dark brown wings, with each fore wing having a yellow bar across it. The hind wings each have a yellow patch.

    The species is found in Indonesia, New Guinea, and northern Queensland in Australia.
