The adult moth is brown with three white zig-zag lines across each fore wing. The thorax is white. In its natural posture: it display two tufts of scales, one each side of the abdomen. The forelegs are white, with dense black hairs covering the femurs. The wingspan is up to 2 cms.

The species has been found in Victoria, Australia.
