The adult moth of this species has forewings which are light brown, each with a dark diamond shaped spot near the middle. The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.

The species has been found across south-east Asia and the south Pacific, including :

  • Fiji,
  • Hong Kong,
  • India,
  • Taiwan
    as well as
  • Queensland and
  • northern New South Wales.
