(Specimen: courtesy of the The Australian Museum)

The adult moth has a brown body, and buff coloured wings. The forewings have a row of dark dots along the edge. The wingspan is about 3 cms. A moth of this name is known overseas, and the determination of these Australian specimens as that species has been questionned.
