This Caterpillar is yellow, with rows of black spots and white spots along its length, and a red spot on each of the penultimate two segments. Each black spot has a bunch of black hairs sticking out from it, and it has two sparse black hair pencils sticking out diagonally from each side of its head. It has been found on :

  • Peach tree ( Prunus persica, ROSACEAE )

    growing to a length of about 2 cms.

    In captivity, it pupated in a sparse cocoon at the bottom of its container.

    It has been found near Bundaberg in Queensland.
