The Caterpillar of this species has been found feeding in Bundaberg, Queensland, on the leaves of:
The animal is brown and hairy with two white spots: on segments six and seven. It also has two hairy horns on its head. It grew to a length of about 2 cms.
It pupated in a sparse cocoon in the ground litter.
The adult is white, with black eyes and a yellow tail. It has a wingspan of about 2 cms.
