The adult moth is very striking. It has a buff coloured body with three black spots on each segment. The forewings have a pattern of brown zig-zag lines on white, and the hind wings are buff with a brown mark in the middle and black dots along the edge. It has a wingspan up to 7 cms. This species is found in the rainforests of the mid-east coast of Australia.
