This caterpillar feeds on the dead leaves of various species of Gum Trees ( MYRTACEAE ).

The adult moth has forewings that are dark brown with several large white spots. The hindwings are white.

The species is found in the eastern half of Australia, including:

  • New South Wales, and
  • Queensland.
