The caterpillars of this species have been reported feeding on:
Fruity Mint ( Dicerandra frutescens ),
Knobweed ( Hyptis capitata ), and
Shiso ( Perilla frutescens )
all of
LAMIACEAE.
The adult is deep yellow, with ragged brown lines across the wings.
The moth has a wingspan of about 2 cms.
The
pheromones of this species have been determined.
The species occurs in:
China,
Costa Rica,
Japan,
Korea,
l'île de La Réunion,
Mexico,
USA,
as well as
Queensland, and
Western Australia.
