♦¡¡ [11 July 2009] The 2009 International Colloquium on Data Sciences, Knowledge Discovery and Business Intelligence (DSKDBI09) has been successfully organized in Sydney from 7-11 July, with speakers from SAS, IBM-Cognos, SPSS and Mathworks, and Prof Philip S Yu from the US, Prof Michalewicz Zbigniew from Adleide, Dr Graham Williams from ATO, and Prof Charles Ling from Canada etc.
♦¡¡[25 May 2009] Agent Mining: The Synergy of Agents and Data Mining (IEEE Intelligent Systems, 64-72, May/June 2009) presents an 'expert opinion' on the new area of agent mining (agents and data mining interaction).
♦¡¡ [10 May 2009] The 2009 International Workshop on Domain Driven Data Mining (DDDM09) will be joint with ICDM2009.
♦¡¡ [2 May 2009] The Smart Lab will organize an international colloquium on data sciences, knowledge discovery and business intelligence on 7 - 11 July 2009 in Sydney, a forum with communication among industry/government units, professionals and academics. The colloquium features five components: (1) business solutions provided by world-class vendors, (2) fundamentals and (3) advancements presented by world-class researchers, (4) enterprise applications introduced by world-class practitioners, and (5) workshops fostering a great forum for further research and practice-based innovation. Short courses and workshop will be presented by World-class senior researchers and practitioners, combining one-stop solution including fundamentals, advancements, business solutions, successful application case studies and research forum. Certificated by Australian Computer Society Certificate, and co-sponsored by Australian Computer Society, Australian Research Council Research Network EII, UTS and Fudan University, as well as three key vendors.
