I am an academic
staff at the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS), Australia, in the Faculty of Engineering and Information
Technology since January 2001. I am the Program Director for Bachelor of
Information Technology (BIT) Program.

Prior to this, I
served at the University of New South Wales (UNSW), School of Computer Science and Engineering
(September 1999 – January 2001) and Regional Engineering College (REC, name
changed to NIT), Rourkela, India in the Department
of Computer Science and Engineering (September 1991- September 1999) both
as an academic staff.

In the past I
held Visiting Professor and Research Visitor position at University of
Minnesota (UoM), Minneapolis, USA in the Department
of Computer Science and Engineering (January 2004 – May 2004) during my
Sabbatical leave from UTS.

I have 19 years of
experience in Teaching and Research. I also serve as a Core Research
member in Research Centre for Innovation
in IT Services and Applications iNEXT and as a steering committee member in
IPv6 work Group
committee in Australia’s
Academic and Research Network (AARNET)
