Focus

The research lab focuses on underlying Internet technologies and their applications particularly related to the WWW and Mobile Systems. We are mostly concerned with the application layer and also the implications of systems that can be built upon the underlying pervasive Internet infrastructure. Also of interest are broader social issues and effects related to the spread and usage of the pervasive Internet. At the applications layer technologies under consideration include Web services, middleware, WAP and WML and XML and related standards. At the e-Business level we address new possibilities for business and business models that are provided by the application of these technologies and standards.
